Minister of Interior Affairs Met with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees

H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior Affairs, met with Mr. Barham Salih, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Mr. Arafat Jamal, the agency’s representative in Afghanistan, and the accompanying delegation.

The UNHCR High Commissioner spoke about the continuation of the organization’s cooperation in resolving refugee issues, supporting returning Afghans, and delivering humanitarian assistance.

H.E. Haqqani welcomed the visit of the UNHCR leadership and thanked the agency for its efforts and cooperation in the transfer of refugees.
