Six Armed Robbers Arrested in Khost Province
The Criminal Investigation Department of the Khost Provincial Police Command, in coordination with intelligence personnel in Ismail Khel and Mandozai District, arrested a six-member gang of professional robbers during an intelligence-led operation.
According to the investigation, the suspects last month used military uniforms and falsely claimed to be members of the Mujahideen to rob the home of a resident in the Tandi area of Khost. They stole one Kalashnikov rifle, one pistol, 250,000 Afghanis, 150,000 Pakistani rupees, a quantity of gold, and several other valuables.
In addition to the stolen weapons and property, security forces recovered three Kalashnikov rifles, one pistol, two communication radios, ten mobile phones, a Russian-made dagger, military uniforms, and a large quantity of magazines and ammunition from the arrested suspects.
Following preliminary investigations and the completion of their case files, the suspects have been referred to the relevant judicial authorities.
