Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics Visits Nangarhar Province

Al-Haj Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior Affairs, visited Nangarhar Province, where he toured the Waziro area of Khogyani District and closely reviewed the ongoing poppy crop eradication operations.

He emphasized the need to further accelerate efforts to combat narcotics and to seriously follow up on and implement the decree of the Amir al-Mu'minin, may Allah preserve him.

He also visited the ongoing reconstruction of the Drug Addicts’ Support and Rehabilitation Center in Nangarhar Province and issued necessary instructions to the responsible officials to expedite its reconstruction, completion, and activation.

Counter-Narcotics officials and personnel also assured him that they would take further measures to fulfill their responsibilities and strengthen their efforts in combating narcotics.
