Two Armed Thieves Arrested in Badakhshan with Stolen Gold and Cash Worth Millions

The Criminal Investigation Police of Badakhshan Provincial Police Command, through a special operation, successfully recovered the stolen cash and gold belonging to a money exchanger in Fayzabad city, which had been taken a few days earlier while he was returning home. The recovered items were handed back to the rightful owner.

The seized property includes one gold brick weighing 2,638 grams, 28,325 US dollars, 2,200,000 Afghanis, and 1,000 euros.

In connection with the case, two suspects were arrested along with two pistols and several rounds of ammunition. After completion of the preliminary investigation, they will be handed over to the judicial and legal authorities.
