New Governor of Laghman Officially Introduced

Qari Bakhtiar Muaz was officially introduced today as the new Governor of Laghman Province by Mawlawi Mohammad Nabi Omari, First Deputy Minister of Interior, in the presence of the former governor, officials from the Ministry of Information and Culture, as well as representatives and staff of various provincial departments.

During the ceremony, the service of the former governor, sacrifices of the Mujahideen, and cooperation of the departments were commended.

Al-Haj Qari Bakhtiar Muaz, the newly appointed governor, spoke about public support and cooperation, stressing the protection of the Islamic system, resolving existing challenges, and strengthening developmental works, while urging people’s partnership in these areas.

He also assured that his office doors will remain open to the public and highlighted the importance of scholars’ advice in the advancement and consolidation of governance.

In the same gathering, provincial officials and staff discussed administrative and security matters, coordination, and ongoing activities. Important decisions were taken to further enhance service delivery to the people and strengthen the governance system.
