More than 240 kilograms of opium seized in Paktika and Ghazni

In two separate operations in the provinces of Paktika and Ghazni, more than 240 kilograms of opium were discovered and seized. Police forces of the Paktika Provincial Police Headquarters arrested six drug traffickers along with 25 kilograms of opium. Meanwhile, personnel of the Ghazni Highway Battalion seized 217 kilograms of opium from a Toyota Fortuner at the Rawza Pass inspection checkpoint. The suspects fled the scene, and efforts to locate and arrest them are ongoing.
