The Deputy Minister for Counter Narcotics Meets with the Governor of Laghman and Local Officials

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior Affairs, during his official visit to Laghman Province, met with Qari Bakhtiar Muaz, the Governor of the province, along with officials from various civilian and military institutions. A joint coordination meeting was also held regarding the prevention of narcotics.
During the meeting, Mr. Munir emphasized the strict implementation of the decree of His Excellency Amir al-Mu'minin (may Allah protect him) concerning the prohibition of the cultivation, use, and trafficking of narcotics, as well as the collection and rehabilitation of drug addicts and beggars. He described these efforts as a shared responsibility of all officials.
At the meeting, the Governor of Laghman and local officials reaffirmed their commitment to the full implementation of the aforementioned decree and expressed their comprehensive cooperation and strong determination in combating narcotics.
