Border Forces Seize Hundreds of Kilograms of Narcotics-Related Material and Arrest 45 Individuals in One Week
The security forces of the General Directorate of Border Forces, as a result of intelligence-led operations carried out over the past week, discovered and seized 3,110 kilograms of the "Woman" plant, which is used in the processing of narcotics, at Kandahar International Airport.
During the same period, 45 individuals were arrested in connection with various offenses at Kabul International Airport and the Islam Qala and Spin Boldak border commissariats. Of those arrested, eight were charged with forgery and document falsification, 32 were deportees, and five were detained in connection with other offenses.
Additionally, at the Islam Qala Border Commissariat, authorities prevented the smuggling of 940 million Iranian tomans, and the seized amount was handed over to the relevant authorities in accordance with legal procedures.
