47-Year Feud Resolved Through Mediation in Paktika Province
Through the joint efforts of security officials, religious scholars, and tribal elders in Nika district of Paktika province, a 47-year-long feud between two families has come to an end, and the two sides have reconciled.
The enmity began years ago after a member of one family was accidentally killed in an incident, which led to prolonged tensions between the two families.
The dispute was ultimately resolved as a result of persistent mediation efforts by security institutions and community elders. This reconciliation is considered an important step toward strengthening local stability and promoting social unity in the area.
