227 Kilograms of Opium Seized in Takhar, Ghazni, Badakhshan, and Nimroz Provinces

Anti-Narcotics Police forces, in separate operations, identified and seized 85 kilograms of opium in Khwaja Ghar District of Takhar Province, 66 kilograms in Ghazni, 34 kilograms in Badakhshan, and another 42 kilograms from the fifth district of Zaranj City, the capital of Nimroz Province.

Eight people were also arrested in connection with the trafficking and sale of the aforementioned narcotics. Following preliminary investigations, they will be handed over to the relevant judicial and legal authorities.
