Cash Assistance Distributed to 100 Needy Families in Kabul Province

Police personnel provided each of the 100 beneficiaries—identified as deserving by an assigned committee in Kabul—with 5,000 Afghanis. The distribution took place in the presence Al- Haj Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior, along with other officials and members of the Islamic Emirate.
Speaking at the event, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir stated that the Ramadan assistance is being distributed only to beggars who had previously been verified as eligible. He added that the distribution process will continue in Kabul as well as in other provinces.
