Security Agreement Signed for Four Major National Economic Projects

A security agreement for four major national economic projects was signed between the Public Protection Security Enterprise Deputy Ministry of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.

Under the agreement, the Public Protection Security Enterprise Deputy Ministry of the Ministry of Interior will deploy its professionally trained security personnel to provide security for the Mes Aynak Copper Mine, the Badakhshan Lapis Lazuli Mine, the Sheberghan–Mazar Gas Pipeline Project, and the Amu Darya Project. The objective is to ensure that these key economic projects are implemented in a safe and secure environment.

The agreement was signed by Al-Haj Mawlawi Saeedullah Hamas, Deputy Minister of the Public Protection Security Enterprise of the Ministry of Interior, and Sheikh Abdul Rahman Qanit, Deputy Minister for Policy and Programs of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.
