Police in Helmand Recover Millions in Stolen Money from Money Exchange

Police forces in Musa Qala district of Helmand province have recovered part of the 36 million Pakistani rupees stolen from a money exchange and arrested six armed robbers in connection with the incident.
Al-Haji Mawlawi Misbahullah Adil, the police commander of Musa Qala district, said that the suspects carried out the robbery on the 25th of Ramadan in the Nasir Khan Darbar area, located between Nawzad and Musa Qala districts. The robbers used a pistol to steal approximately 36 million Pakistani rupees from a money exchanger.
According to him, security forces, during operations based on intelligence information, recovered 12,750,000 Pakistani rupees from the arrested individuals.
Officials added that efforts are ongoing to arrest two more suspects involved in the case, and the detained individuals will be handed over to judicial authorities after preliminary investigations.
