Coordination Meeting of Governors from Seven Zones Held in Kabul

The regular coordination meeting of governors from the country’s seven zones was held at the Kabul Governor’s Office, attended by  Mullah Mohammad Shirin Akhund, Governor of Kandahar; Mullah Mohammad Yousuf Wafa, Governor of Balkh;  Mawlawi Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, Governor of Herat; Mullah Mohammad Naeem Akhund, Governor of Nangarhar; Mawlawi Nasrullah Mutie, Governor of Kunduz;  Mullah Mehrullah Hamad, Governor of Paktia; and Mullah Aminullah Obaid, Governor of Kabul.

The Governor of Kabul welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of coordination and cooperation in administrative affairs.

During the meeting, reports from the seven zones were reviewed, and participants discussed the implementation of decrees and orders, border management, combating drug smuggling, security and civil administration, mining contracts, job creation, and addressing the challenges faced by migrants and returnees.

The meeting also covered traffic regulations on highways, agricultural land leasing government lands, establishing standard laboratories to assess food and medicine quality, strengthening regional hospitals, and improving education and healthcare services.
