19 Arrested in Connection with Various Criminal Offenses in Five Provinces

Anti-Crime Police forces of the Ministry of Interior, in several separate operations, arrested 19 individuals in connection with theft, timber smuggling, and human trafficking in five provinces.

Of these, 8 individuals were arrested in connection with timber smuggling using six vehicles in Dara-e Pech District of Kunar Province; 4 individuals in connection with human trafficking using four motorcycles in Nimroz Province; 4 individuals in connection with the theft of one motorcycle and a number of knives in Nangarhar Province; 2 individuals in connection with the theft of cash and gold in Khogyani District of Ghazni Province; and another individual in connection with the theft of two vehicles in Herat Province.
