13 Individuals Arrested in Connection with Criminal Offenses

Police forces, during several separate operations, arrested one individual in connection with the smuggling of 100 copper ingots out of the country from Helmand Province, five individuals in connection with theft from Faryab Province, four individuals in connection with the theft of electricity lines from Nimroz Province, two individuals in connection with armed robbery of residential houses from Jowzjan Province, and another thief from Farah Province.
Meanwhile, police forces in Paktika Province also discovered and confiscated four vehicles that were illegally loaded with timber.
