Thousands of kilograms of Narcotics Burned in Helmand Province

A total of 12,272 kilograms of narcotics, which had been seized by the Counter-Narcotics Police from the center and districts of Helmand province during the year 1404/ 2205, were burned in the presence of an authorized delegation.
The destroyed drugs included:
Opium,
Methamphetamine (shisha),
Hashish,
Heroin,
Intoxicating tablets,
Alcoholic beverages, and other substances.
In connection with these cases, 217 individuals had been arrested.
