New Governor of Badakhshan Province Introduced

In a ceremony attended by officials, scholars, and local elders of Badakhshan Province, Mawlawi Abdul Haq Makhdoom, Deputy Minister for Policy and Strategy of the Ministry of Interior, introduced Mawlawi Ismail Ghaznawi as the new governor of Badakhshan.

During his speech, Mawlawi Abdul Haq Makhdoom stated that the selection of officials should be based on merit, trustworthiness, and a spirit of service. He added that Mawlawi Ismail Ghaznawi was appointed according to these same principles.

The Deputy Minister appreciated the efforts of the former governor and called on all local authorities to cooperate and coordinate with the new governor in order to take effective steps toward the welfare, security, and development of the province.
