Meeting Between Border Police Deputy and Head of Uzbekistan State Security

Alhaj Mawlawi Abdul Manan Hassan, Military Deputy of the Border Police, met and held talks with Rustam Ahmadov, Head of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, discussions focused on facilitating travel for citizens of both countries in border areas, creating better opportunities for traders in the joint market, and strengthening cooperation to prevent various forms of smuggling.
The Military Deputy of the Border Police emphasized constructive coordination between neighboring countries and assured that border police forces remain committed to ensuring security and preventing illegal activities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Uzbek delegation expressed confidence in expanding bilateral cooperation in border affairs and described such visits as beneficial for strengthening relations between the two countries.
