Counter-Narcotics Deputy Meets Helmand Governor

The Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics of the Ministry of Interior, Alhaj General Mullah Abdul Haq Akhund Hamkar, met before noon today with the Governor of Helmand Province, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Rahman Muslim Kundoozi, at the Deputy Ministry.
During the meeting, they discussed and shared information on reducing poppy cultivation, preventing the sale, transport, and smuggling of narcotics, collecting, treating, and caring for drug addicts, as well as gathering and supporting beggars.
The Deputy Minister thanked the Helmand Governor for his efforts and emphasized that the fight against narcotics must continue in a joint and organized manner.
