Kidnapped Child Rescued in Balkh Province

Police forces of the Balkh Provincial Police Command, in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Directorate and the 888 Unit, successfully rescued a 13-year-old child who had been abducted a few days earlier on his way to school in District 7 of Mazar-e-Sharif city. The child was freed during a targeted operation conducted in District 4 and was safely reunited with his family.

The operation was led by Mullah Mohammad Yousuf Wafa, the Governor of Balkh Province. As a result of the operation, two kidnappers were killed, and another was arrested by security forces.

It is worth mentioning that the family of the abducted child expressed their happiness and gratitude for the round-the-clock efforts of the Islamic Emirate’s officials and security forces in ensuring the safety and protection of citizens.
