24 Kilograms of Opium and More Than Four Thousand Intoxicating Tablets Discovered and Seized

As a result of an intelligence-based operation carried out by the Counter-Narcotics Police of the Nimroz Provincial Police Command, 24 kilograms of opium were discovered and seized in Gong District of Nimroz Province.
Meanwhile, police forces also discovered and seized 4,123 intoxicating Zikab tablets during a separate intelligence-based operation in District Seven of Jalalabad City, the capital of Nangarhar Province.
In connection with these cases, two individuals have also been arrested and will be handed over to the judicial and legal authorities after preliminary investigations.
