A Six-Member Group Arrested In Connection With Theft In Laghman

Personnel of the 5th Security District in Mehtarlam city, the capital of Laghman province, arrested a six-member group during an operation in connection with theft.

The group had allegedly been stealing valuables, mobile phones, vehicles and rickshaws from people in different areas of Mehtarlam city.

A Toyota Prius, a rickshaw, $600 in cash and AFN 74,700 were recovered from the suspects.

Following preliminary investigations, the arrested individuals will be handed over to the relevant judicial authorities.
