Four Individuals Arrested in Connection with the Killing of a Money Changer in Takhar

As a result of joint and targeted investigative operations conducted by the Counter-Crime Management of the Takhar Police Command and the Intelligence Directorate, four individuals have been arrested in connection with the killing of Naqibullah, a money changer.
Naqibullah was shot dead by armed motorcyclists approximately two months ago in front of the “Behtarin Alam” Mosque in Taloqan city.
Following continuous investigations, Takhar’s security and investigative forces identified and arrested those allegedly involved in the case.
During preliminary investigations, the arrested individuals confessed to their involvement in the killing and stated that they had killed Naqibullah in exchange for US$4,000.
A final decision regarding their responsibility and punishment will be made by the judicial and prosecutorial authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
