Seven People Arrested in Connection with the Murder of Two Family Members in Zinda Jan District of Herat

According to reports, the suspects entered the home of a resident of Langer village in Zinda Jan District. They first killed a young man in front of his mother and then brutally murdered his mother as well after tying her hands and covering her mouth with adhesive tape.
After receiving the report, the security and intelligence forces of the Zinda Jan District Police Command launched a follow-up operation and, within a short period of time, identified and arrested all seven suspects involved in the case.
During the preliminary investigation, all of the detainees confessed to the crime. Their case files will be referred to the relevant judicial and legal authorities for further legal proceedings.
The Herat Provincial Police Command assures the public that ensuring citizens' security and combating criminal offenses remain among the top priorities of the security forces, and that no lawbreaker will escape legal prosecution and punishment.
