$170,000 in U.S. Currency Smuggling Prevented at Islam Qala Port

Officials of the Islam Qala Port Commissioner’s Office arrested an individual who attempted to illegally smuggle $170,000 (one hundred and seventy thousand U.S. dollars) into Iran. The money was seized from the individual at the time of the arrest.
The detainee was handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation and legal proceedings.
